We're back!! Some updates

Welcome back everyone, after a 2 month wasteland without any posts, we have a few things to fill everyone in about.

We went to a Gary Allan concert with Courtney's parents and cousin Jamie and her boyfriend Jeremy. It was a good time and we walked around the fairgrounds for a bit before the concert started. More on fairs coming up...

Upsidedown!!!

Go Gary!

We ventured down to meet up with Scott and Jill and see little Cody. We had a good lunch and had fun with the little man.

Hiding out!

Courtney got more Cody when she went down to babysit him with her parents while Scott went hunting and Jill was teaching. No pictures, but Scott and his buddy nailed a huge elk.

Between all our Cody visits, Courtney got a few swings in playing softball with her cousins.

We stopped by the Puyallup Fair and had a great time with the animals and sampling some fair food!

Goats!
I need one of these at home.

Afterwards we came home and almost started a fire.

We went out for a night on the town, including 2, yes, 2 trips to Cheesecake factory in the same day and we saw Phantom of the Opera!

Looking cool

awwwwwwwww!

After a few weekends of Courtney working and me being a bum, we went up to the cabin with her folks to spend the weekend. After braving the sub 30 degree temps in the morning, we made our way to Leavenworth to celebrate Oktoberfest. Leavenworth is a wonderful little German town up in the mountains, very beautiful.

Look forward to our next post as we leave to visit Nick, Kristen and Miss Lily in sunny California!!

Bainbridge Island & Seattle

We had a beautiful Saturday full of gorgeous sunshine and new adventures for us. Jon had a company picnic over on Bainbridge Island. After buying an enormous amount of food for everyone at Costco Friday night we adventured onto Jon's first Ferry ride Saturday morning to the island. The house was only about a 10 minute walk from the ferry, we could hear the ferry's horn throughout the afternoon while we ate. It was wonderful to meet everyone Jon works with and the rest of their families. They are a very interesting mix of British, Midwest and East coast natives. Only a handful of people were actually born and raised in the Seattle area. It was a nice time playing employee trivia and watching a highly entertaining with a baby's crawling race. (Cody - Lily START YOUR ENGINES) As the afternoon carried on we took the ferry back to Seattle but didn't want to leave the gorgeous weather. We decided to park the car and walk around Pike Place Market and then carried on around downtown Seattle into the night enjoying the warm weather and cool breezes off the water. We ended up stopping for some Italian to top the evening off. Overall it turned out to be a wonderful relaxing Saturday.
