Rainier Review: 8/3/08

We have an exciting weekend ahead of us!!! Jon is going to spend the majority of the day Saturday polishing up the Jetta.....:)..... because he has entered a car show on Sunday! I'm sure we will have LOTS of pictures of his baby to show off afterward. I unfortunately have to work all weekend so I will have to meet up with him in the evenings to see his beautiful work.

Most of all we are both very much looking forward to the Olympics starting this evening... HORRAY!!!! :o) CAN'T WAIT to watch opening ceremonies this evening!

I thought I would show off this picture my Pops took from his office window one morning at work. I thought it was a very cool Washington sunrise he was able to capture.

Well, it's certainly been a busy few weeks for Courtney and I getting settled into our new place. Everything out here has been great!

We have had some fun at a few Mariners games (1st row tickets) and also done some hanging out and exploring downtown.

My job has started off very well. I am currently working on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's new office complex. It's a 3 building complex with a large parking garage with a 100% green roof. I've been learning a lot and have been able to contribute a lot to the project as well.

Courtney has been busy at the hospital as well, picking up overtime shifts when she can. Sometimes we only get 5-10 minutes to see each other for a few days, but usually that doesn't last too long.

Her parents have been very helpful to us also and we've setup a weekly dinner party at their house or at ours. Last week her folks made meatloaf and this week is our turn so we have to top that! We've been having fun cooking together and making food for the house.

We will be getting a camera of our own soon so that we can take more pictures to share with everyone. Now onto the pictures!!
