On Sunday after the party and the other hike, Indira and I went for a hike at Wallace Falls State Park. It's a lovely hike and pretty close to Seattle. It starts off pretty flat for about a mile and then starts its upwards climb of 1200ft over the next 2 miles. Roundtrip was 6 miles and a time of 2.5 hours.
Starting out in the woods
Stopping for a quick picture
And again so I can point at shit and look crazy
Lower falls (with upper falls in the background).
We continued our climb upwards with a few stops. The hike has stops at the Lower, Middle, & Upper Falls for viewing (and resting!)
At the lower viewpoint looking up at the falls
Crazy pointing out stuff guy
I was pretty tired
Doing yoga at one of the trail stops
At the Upper Falls resting point before heading back down.

Panorama from the Upper Falls stop
We headed back down and apparently thought it would be a really fun idea to jog on the way down the trail. Thankfully no ankles were turned and no bumps or bruises either. We bounded our way down in about 45 minutes after climbing the 3 miles up in about 90 minutes and hanging out at the top for a little while.
